The Why Am I Here? Easter egg can be found on Beaver Creek on Halo 2.

Walkthrough[]

Head towards the place where the sniper rifle spawns, then head for the end of the path. Once you have made it to the end of the path, jump past the dead end. On the right side, there should be a place that you can jump onto. Then, there are some rocks that you must push down. Where the big one used to be, there should be writing that says "Why Am I Here?" and a signature that reads "Not Sid." The message can be hard to read clearly. If you experience difficulty, look at it from different angles until you can read it clearly.

Trivia[]

  • The Easter egg is an obvious reference to the Rooster Teeth series Red vs Blue, in which there is a running gag. The first line in the first episode (titled "Why Are We Here?") is "You ever wonder why we're here?" and at the end of season five, Caboose asks Church the same question, and he replies with a speech, but Caboose explains he just meant why are they in the sun, not the shade, and most recently, in season eight, Sarge begins an inspirational speech with "You ever wonder why we're here?" and after an awestruck silence between Grif and Simmons, Grif replies it's one of life's great mysteries, but Sarge corrects him and explains he meant why are they all still in the army unit, and begins a motivating speech.
