"Let’s dive into this a little deeper and try and address some of the questions that will no doubt arise from the community. First off are the “Vidmaster Challenge” achievements. These three will not earn you any gamer points but there will (eventually) be a pay-off. We’re not going to spoil the fun just yet but suffice it to say that gamerscore isn’t everything. Vidmaster Challenge: Lightswitch is a Halo 3 achievement added in Title Update 2, in which the player must achieve the rank of Lieutenant in any playlist in the TU2 EXP progression system.^[2] It is required to receive Recon as the reward for all of the Vidmaster Achievements.

The player must gain 50 playlist Exp to reach the rank of playlist Lieutenant. Double EXP weekend playlists such as Grifball are a great way to start earning quick playlist exp.

It is represented by a green Marathon symbol, with a Lieutenant rank insignia on it.

TriviaEdit

• The achievement was named so because of the Lieutenant insignia's similarity with a household light switch.
• Keep in mind that reaching the overall rank of Lieutenant will not unlock the achievement. As the description states, Lieutenant must be achieved in a single playlist, such as Social Slayer.
