To those that this may concern,

The following is an RfU for the new usergroup that WRAITH and, myself (Lordofmonsterisland) wish to see created. It would be called the Forge Team of Halopedia (FToH). The usergroup will be near purely for recreation with Halo 3's Forge tool, but it will also allow people to share their own creations and ideas, as well as to teach others. Those users that are unable to use Forge (like myself) will be able to use a sub-section of the usergroup's main page (or a subpage for the usergroup) to suggest ideas, share their own finds and the like. The usergroup itself will operate like any other usergroup, even with a ranking system; however this rank system will be more on the skill of the member instead of accomplishments. This should:
A. help some feel like they are achieving goals and
B. Keep an interest in editing maps.
For example, Member 1 would have made 26 maps or contributions with forge, therefore making him an Apprentice in the Forge Team. The ranking system is as follows:

• Novice - A beginner. No edits.
• Apprentice - More than a beginner, yet still low on the food chain. Must reach 25 edits to reach this point.
• Journeyman - Getting up there. Must reach 50 edits to achieve this rank.
• Expert - Very skilled. Must reach 100 edits to achieve this rank.
• Taskmasters - Second to the top. Must reach 200 edits for this.
• Master - The founders and leaders. Currently, this only includes myself and WRAITH. We will discuss if any more should be included.

The number of “Edits” needed for these ranks is still to be determined as well as is there should be additional ranks. As well there will be Overseers who direct and organize events for the group.
Following this Idea of a recreational group, I also thought it would be a good Idea to organize certain events, such as build a map using only boxes to make a maze or something more complex such as make a CTF map that incorporates floating bases.
Overall this usergroup will help those share their ideas, develop new skills, and have fun with Halo 3’s Forge tool! One final note is that not all of this has been finalized, so there is no need to worry about anything yet. This is the cement for this idea, so any concerns or ideas to add would be greatly appreciated.

[edit] May I use you in Heralds of Chaos?

It's a new fic I'm starting that uses the actual users of Halopedia and Halo Fanon, as in our personalities and our real selves. Here's the basic premise.

A number of users from Halo Fanon and Halopedia find themselves mysteriously transported into an alternate reality, a real life version of Halo multiplayer. So begins the Chaos Tournament, where anything is allowed, and the only constants are death and pain. The goal: to be the last man standing. The prize: Immortality. Alliances will be formed, rivalries rekindled, and betrayals carried out. Who will stand victorious, and who will lie in their own blood? No one will know until the end.
