Why did you join halopedia?: Well it was August 2006, and I had nothing to do besides play Halo 2, and go on the internet. So, I found this place, and it's now my home away from home.
Where did you get that name?:
I've always like the title/rank of Commander, probably because of Star Wars: Ep. III, and my name is Tony. And when I entered my name for the site, "TheBoobMan" was already taken, so I used "CommanderTony" instead
What is your favorite movie this summer?: I'd have to say Hot Fuzz, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are amazingly funny!

Where did you get that name?:I It's a little silly,I was thinking at the time 2 random new halo related things ,the Ghosts of Onyx and the Brute Spiker ,so I added a little L33T and the strange thing now is I kind of hate it.
What is your favorite movie this summer?:I havent seen a movie this summer because summer just started but if you mean the whole year I'd deffinately say it's Pirates of the Carribean 3.It is freaking awsome and sooo funny.
Do you like pie or cake?:Usually I would be asking a strange question like this because I'm weird ,crazy and funny.I like cake but I've have never tryed pie.

Why did you join halopedia?: It was November, I was young and egnimatic in the knowledge of Halo, had recently beaten Halo 2 - I got stuck on The Oracle (don't ask) - and was impatiently awaiting Halo 3 to be released when I stumbled across it in a Google search. It was love at first sight. :D ;D
Where did you get that name?: Well, I had just discovered Red vs. Blue and watched every single episode in a 6 hour marathon on my computer, so since Caboose was my favorite, I took his name.
What is your favorite movie this summer?: Um...what movies came out this summer?
Do you like pie or cake?: Pie all the way! Cake is too sugary and the frosting makes me throw up.
What is your favorite thing to do on Halopedia?: Edit, read articles, get sources, and, since I'm a girl, socialize. :D

Why did you join Halopedia?: I saw a link AgentSeethroo added at the Halo 2 article on Wikipedia. It seemed like a good place without fancruft rules.
Where did you get that name?: "Dragonclaws" was one of my Halo 1 accounts, named because it sounded threatening and I like dragons. Other accounts were called "Erebus" and "Apep", BTW.
What is your favorite movie this summer?: Pirates of the Caribbean 3.
Do you like pie or cake?: Pie. I'm not a big cake guy. I like mud pie, though, which is more cake than pie, despite the name.
What is your favorite thing to do on Halopedia?: Um, edit? I like seeing pages look functional, good for fanfic research.
What could we do to make Halopedia better?: Get rid of the hierarchy in usergroups. We should have a group of people devoted to a subject, not politicians striving for control.

Where did you get that name?: none of the ones i wanted worked, so halofan typed 'HaloDude' in and....voila! (that's why our names are so similar)

Do you like pie or cake?: definately pie - Cherry pie.

Hey, I'm mostly sorry about what I did to the LOTR wiki, but I was really pissed-off by a LOTR fan at the time. I watched that youtube video, a bit funny I must say However you didn't get the idea. I was not suggesting that George Lucas would make LOTR better, but simply that he is (at least in my mind) just plain better.
I did thankfully settle the argument between me and that LOTR fan I was pissed-off at, we settled it by agreeing that the LOTR books are better than the STAR WARS books, but the STAR WARS films are better than the LOTR films. You would be a fool not to agree with this statement. Plus, and I quote, STAR WARS is the most successful film series of all time, the most successful video series, the most successful film-based franchise, the bestselling publishing series book for book, and it's appeal is timeless, reaching across generations. Now I don't know about you but I think it's a tad bit hard for LOTR to beat those goals!
I do not really care about being band from the LOTR wiki as I do not use it at all!
By the way, I stick by my comments on that bullshit quote from Mr. Kenneth "The trilogy will not soon, if ever, find its equal" Turan. That is the most meaningless quote ever! Although it is obvious as to what he means, he doesn't say that it's a great trilogy there-fore he could be referring to the point that the films were so lame that there is no chance any other films could be equal in lameness.

If Star-Wars was sooooooooo good, then why did Revenge of the Sith never get an award when Return of the King won a ton of awards, about five I do believe. And GL broke many of his promises, he promised the world that he'd finish off all of the loose ends in Star Wars with more movies, but he didn't. And he also promised that he'd make episode 1 2 and 3 like two years after 6, and he filmed them twenty f***ing years later!! If this isn't the place to discuss this then where do you think would be more appropriate? I'm happy to move elsewhere and bicker with you. But what could be more appropriate than a Wiki designed to document and celebrate the cultural phenomenon of star wars? Yes the lord of the rings movie "the return of the king" won far more academy awards when it was released, but it was released 4 years after the phantom menace and comparative awarding over that period of time is just ludicrous (these awards being comparative, they always give out the academy awards regardless of the quality of the films in that year). That would only be a valid argument if they had been released at the same time in the same year. maybe a comparison of the phantom menace and the fellowship of the ring would be better received and actually fuel your argument (not even being insulting there considering it won the the same number of awards). The second trilogy or Prequel trilogy of star wars was actually released 16 years after the conclusion of the first series and this has been summed up to the lack of complicated visual effects available at the time, compared to the quality desirable to properly portray the stunning back story that the new films draw. Even as a film of a novel (a genre encompassing some of the greatest train wrecks of our age)the lord of the rings series is below average. They leave the staple shortening and implying phase taken with most films of this type and instead go with the assumption that people will be happy to sit for three hours in order to see about 15 minutes of somewhat shiny special effects (somewhat like the dune films). Star wars is also superior in that they provide grounds for related back stories and sub-franchises whereas in lord of the rings you have to sit through them telling you the background, one of the most boring and wasted hour and a 1/2s 's the of my life. What's the point of trying to continue the series when it's already made millions upon millions of dollars, besides all the loose ends are easily explained if you half half a braincell, the other jedi is Leia and everyone else is alive and shown in the final scene of the film, nothing extra, no secrets, settled thoroughly.

i just read ur post on my discussion page..yea I DO play halo 3 and i extensively play it over and over. atleast 1 person finally figured it out and set it straight, rocky installation is installation 01. dessert one is installation 07. it is logical that the first installation made should be the one closest to the activation panel. just because the first ring that u see once u get to that part of the level doesnt mean anything. also if u use ascendant justice as a "reliable" resource on this matter then i would refer to u as the very retarded name "noob". seriously justice is just a blog mainly made up of opinons and thoeries. the only facts in it are the things that can easily be seen in the game. but the installation overview is totally incorrect and they should change it. again, installation 01, one closest to the activation panel and has surface like the moon, installation 07 is the first ring u see when u come up the elevator. good day.
