We have a category for all articles about DLC that are multiplayer map packs, but we do not have a category for articles about DLC that are bundles or don't include only maps, such as the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack, Champions Bundle, and Infinity Armor Pack.
I think the concept of having a category specifically for Map Packs is somewhat outdated. I propose that we rename Category:Multiplayer Map Packs to Category:DLC, and that way, we can include all DLC in categories. Further, this will allow us to categorize DLC by game in the same way we've categorized multiplayer.
What's the policy for categorizing articles that also correspond to a subcategory? For example, does War Games belong in Halo 4, Halo 4 Multiplayer, or both?
Though you might already know about, I thought I’d remind you about [Special:LicensedVideoSwap|Wikia’s Video Swap tool], which allows you to very easily swap out YouTube videos embedded across your community for the Wikia equivalent. It only effects YouTube videos with a matching Wikia video. Swapping out your videos for matching officially licensed Wikia videos means that the videos on your community are less likely to be taken down and rendered unwatchable.
With your approval, I can go through and make these swaps for you — if you’d rather undertake this task yourself — or if you’re uninterested entirely — just let me know! I'll likely start making some of the swaps for you in a week, so be sure to let me know as soon as you can if you'd rather not make the switch."
Hi, I know your busy with Exams and what not but if you could reply to this that would be great, awesome in fact.
Jorge Albor has offered to send me to E3 2014 this year and since you were sent last year, I was hoping you could answer a few questions.
Is it true that the entire trip is paid for? Plane, Food, Hotel, All? Also what exactly did you do at the convention aside from the Wikia Showcase videos? How far was your hotel from the conferences? What did you experience, etc.
Again if you can answer these, I would definately appreciate it. Thanks! -- awyman13TalkWork 04:05, May 15, 2014 (UTC)
I noticed that Wikia has listed you on the Wiki Games for E3 2014. Does that mean I'll be meeting you in three weeks? :) -- awyman13TalkWork 20:46, May 20, 2014 (UTC)
Hi T3CHNOCIDE, I have a question regarding editing for you. This isn't a question about editing here on this wiki, but rather wiki's in general. I've noticed the sidebar on Halo Nation is quite different then that of some other wiki's, and I would like to know (with the provided Administrator powers) how to edit a sidebar.
I'd like to know the reasoning please. Also, in future, please don't call peoples religious beliefs a lie as you did with me. It's unacceptable and not very user-friendly. 343 TheGuiltyProphet (talk) 22:49, June 21, 2014 (UTC)
Hi, it took ages because I couldn't get AWB to work the way I wanted it to. But I manually removed all the templates that added this category. http://www.halo.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Banned_User . Took me a very long time but I done it. (Template no longer exists, very outdated). If you could now please delete the category for me to finish it off and remove the last page that SYSOP protected. Thanks, 343 TheGuiltyProphet 00:45, August 15, 2014 (UTC)
Currently, Halo Nation italicizes titles of works (games, books, and songs), disambiguation headers, and quotes in articles. My understanding is that in cases of italics within italics, italics should be reversed (i.e. For the weapon in Halo: Combat Evolved, see this weapon.) I was discussing this with another admin, and he disagrees, even though it is common practice elsewhere. Do we have a standard or policy in place on this? If not, would we be able to define one? -- Vektor0 (talk) 21:02, August 20, 2014 (UTC)
I apologize if I was unclear. I know that italics should be used for titles and ship names. I also know that italics should be used for disambiguation headers. But what if we have a title within a disambiguation header? Of the following two examples, which should be used:
