[edit] Ideas of mine
- Quick opinion, we as a community should compile a table of how many shots from each gun it takes to kill each enemy in their weak spot and torso, shielded and unshielded on each difficulty. STATUS-postponed until further notice
- We also should put the locations of hidden weapon caches in the pages of the campaign
[edit] Fan Fic
This summer I plan on writing an extensive fan fic revolving around the Spartan III's. If you are interested in being a character let me know. Give me the name (has to be a real name, ie Super Elite 333 not allowed), number, character traits. To see its current status look here:[[1]]

- Firstly, thanks for welcoming me! Secondly, I, unfortunately am not an Abobe Photoshop guru, however, my father is and he will help the FoH because he has an account on another Wiki and believes it important to have the right facts down with the right tools and images. He might help us if he is not busy or totally ****ed up at someone/something.

[edit] RE: Quoting Policy
Dear Spartan 1138,
That's somewhat difficult to work out...if you're not comfortable on being quoted on many topics, perhaps you shouldn't sign the list at all: it's not obligatory at all. However, I'd be glad to work with you on the policy, and I sincerely appreciate your enthusiasm! =]
Cheers,

[edit] IRC Ban
Your IRC ban has been overruled. I finished my review of it about 5 minutes ago and decided that you had not received fair warning on the matter before GPT banned you. I would like to make it explicitly clear that I had been planning on reviewing it last night, but your antics with ban dodging lead me to not want to review it until morning. --forgottenlord 17:11, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 1138 from his english class saving work
Adam Evans Ms Petry Honors English 10 November 13, 2007 Eternal Darkness The lone Phantom class drop ship shuddered as it left the hanger bay of the CCS Homicidal Tendencies. On board were six of humanity’s finest warriors. There mission was simple, find out what went wrong at the Baphomet research station on the surface of Mars. “Look sharp marines”, Lt Commander Avery Byrne started. “We don’t know what the hell happened down there. For all we know the base could be having a com blackout. But this isn’t likely. What I think happened was something went wrong, a mutiny, terrorists, something like that. But I’m not paid to think, I’m paid to fight. There are six hundred and sixty people on that base that we don’t know what happened to. Lock and load, we hit the deck in sixty.” Draven Carter looked around the cramped bay of the drop ship at his fellow marines. Something about this didn’t feel right to him, but he quickly dismissed it as permission jitters “Ten seconds till the dirt”, the pilot shouted over their headsets. The marines stood. A symphony of clicks and snaps filled the air as the six men loaded their rifles. Draven felt the adrenaline fill his system and the door to the troop bay opened. The second his boots hit the deck his training took over. Quickly, the battle hardened team moved to their predetermined positions. Draven and his squad mate, Patrick O’Haver ran to secure the door. “Left flank secure.” “Right secure” “Draven how’s our exit?” “Draven answer me!” Draven was too preoccupied by what was before him to hear Byrne screaming his name over the radio. “Um, it’s secure but you might want to come see this sir.” He turned to see Byrne walking towards him, the flickering lights of the hanger bay reflecting off his recently shaved head. “Now what is so damn important?” “Sir you’re standing in it.” Byrne looked down to see he was standing in a rather fresh puddle of blood with bloody smears running out the door. “Tell me it was just a nose bleed.” “Sorry sir, but it isn’t.” Draven could have sworn he heard Byrne mutter buzz kill after that comment. He continued, “My guess is someone was killed here and the body was dragged out the door.” “Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Ok. Johnson, Harrison, and Jenkins on me, we’re off to see where this guy went. O’Haver and Carter keep our exit safe.” Four marines clad in their black combat armor, crouching, low, rifles raised, carefully made their way into the dark hall way leading away from the hanger. Draven and O’Haver were alone in the hanger. “Draven, I got a bad feeling about this op. Stuff just isn’t adding up,” O’Haver said in his slight Irish accent. “Yeah I know what you mean Pat. I mean, why would terrorists or whoever attack a remote heavily guarded military research base?” “Got me. Heh, isn’t it strange?” “What?” “There’s supposed to be six hundred and sixty guys here right? Then the six of us show up.” “Odd coincidence Pat, but don’t get all superstitious on me now.” “Yeah, I just thought it was odd.” Minutes passed and all was quiet. Then a burst of static appeared on the radio, followed by a very panicked Avery Byrne. “There are contacts all over the place, but they’re not human. We’re falling back to the hanger. Oh god they just got Harrison. Hanger team expect contacts following us, roughly.” There was a howl of pain and agony over the radio followed by some bestial growl. The channel cut to white noise. “Byrne, Johnson come in. Anybody answer! What the hell just happened?” Draven’s only reply was static. He and Patrick locked eyes for a brief second. They knew what they had to do. There was two clicks as they switched the safeties off on their rifles. “Pat we’re going to need to get to the control center and call the Homicidal Tendencies for evac. And tell them what happened to Byrne and the rest,” he added solemnly. The two marines cautiously moved down the dark hallway. There was a staccato burst of assault rifle fire down the hall, and then the eerie silence settled over them like blanket. “Marines, come out with your hands up.”, O’Haver ordered. Silence. “Come out with your hands up or we will use lethal force.” There was a deep growl. In the flickering red emergency lights of the hall, a lone figure stood. It was easily five inches taller then a person. That was the only think human about it. The creature sniffed the rank air and charged. Calmly Draven centered the sight of his gun on the head of the charging beast, knowing O’Haver was doing the same. He fired. Several rounds flew down range and found their mark. It fell in a mist of its own blood. Draven sprinted to the body and fired two more shots into its chest and one more to the temple, a surefire way to ensure the beast would never rise again. “Hey Draven, I think we found Harrison.” “Where?” “You just shot him.” Draven looked down to see the tattered standard issue assault vest still on the corps. There was a pair of dog tags around its neck. Draven plucked one off the necklace and inspected the silvery surface. “Yeah it’s him, it was him. But what I shot wasn’t Harrison.” “No need to second guess yourself man. I would have done the same thing.” “Yeah I know Pat, its just I’ve known him for so long. If I would have known” O’Haver cut him off. “If you would have known we would be dead because you would have hesitated. You followed your training, simple as that. Now if this happened to him it probably happened to everyone else on this rock we’re going to be in for a blast.” he said dryly. O’Haver bent down and started to remove what was left of the ammo left on the vest and pocketed it. All Draven could do was stare in disbelief. “Load up; we’re going to need it.” Draven bent down and removed a grenade from the gore covered vest and clipped it to his belt. He turned away and threw up. Patrick finished salvaging ammunition off the body and gave Draven a pat on the back. “You going to be ok man?” “Yeah, just a little queasy.” “This your first time in combat Carter?” “Nope. The first time I was knocked out early. A ‘nade went off close to me and knocked me out. Also gave me this little beauty”, he said gesturing to the scar going from above his right eye down to the middle of his cheek. “I see. Well we better get moving, before more buddies show up. The last thing I want it to get caught here with our guard down.” Once again the two man team was on the prowl. They were alert, waiting for the next creature to make a showing. Then they stumbled upon a lone corps. “Ah hell. O’Haver, I just found Byrne.” O’Haver walked up and looked at the body on the floor. It was horribly mangled, bloody open gashes covering its chest and torso. His misty blue eyes were locked open in a death stare. “Looks like he was attacked by an animal. But Baphomet doesn’t have anything like that here.” “I know. Grab his tags and ammo.” Draven drew his pistol and fired a quick shot into the corpse’s temple, ensuring Avery Byrne would stay down. “There isn’t much farther to the control center. Once we get there we radio the Homicidal and get out. No big deal.” The pair continued towards the facilities control center. Then all hell broke loose. “Contacts, three forward”, Draven barked. “On ‘em.” The marines opened up on the trio of humanoid creatures. The creatures turned and returned fire with their own weapons. “I thought these bastards didn’t use guns Draven” “Yeah but we only saw the one earlier”, Draven shouted over the fracas. Carter poked his rifle around the corner and quickly leveled his sights on one of the creatures. He squeezed the trigger. There was a series of bright flashes, like that of a strobe light, and several brass rounds flew towards their target. There was a slight read mist and the creature fell to the floor, neck gushing blood.
