Well if you mean align with people about fan-fiction, you might want to check out Project: Halo Wars and talk with RelentlessRecusant about joining. If you mean just aligning with friends, mostly everyone on here is friendly, as long as you don't vandalize pages and spam stuff. I've only been on this site for a few weeks, but the halofanatics on this site are crazy, in a good way. If you have any problems just ask RelentlessRecusant, he'll usually find answers for you. Hello! My name's RelentlessRecusant (I think you probably know me =D), and I just wanted you to know that you've been featured in my fanfiction chronicles - Ghost.
Before you start asking "WTF, RR?!" (oh wait, you only can call me RR if you're in the "RR homie club" =D), Ghost is basically a series of modern-day military situations set in the years 2000 and 2005 (and further years when I continue to expand it =D) featuring Halopedians as characters...I encourage you to check it out and have fun ridiculing yourselves and your fellow Halopedians! =D

Hey, so since RR seems indisposed as of late, I'll try to clear up some things for you about the RP. You will notice on the main page where it says Status, there are usernames and bulleted below them are characters. These characters are purely fictional. So when RR says make up a character, he literally means make up a fanfic character, or use your own if you want. Choose a side, name, status, ship, etc. Read the posts to get an understanding of what is going on and write stories that somehow related(if something happened in 2552, do not start your post in 2000). Also, you can make up more than one character, have seperate stories, or intertwined stories. Just don't get too far out there like faraz22 and go creating another gravemind. Use your head and it's pretty easy. Take it from me, my first fanfic post ever was on here first and I did okay. I know this is a lot to read but I hope it cleared up some of the confusion. Yes, I believe you are right, even though I'd rather deny it. Anyway, an IRC channel is sort of like an IM, except for the wikias. To log in, go to that column on the left side of the screen where all the links are (i.e. Main Page). Under wikia, click Live wiki help or under navigation, click IRC at #Halopedia. You will be brought to a screen where you can sign in under any name (it's never permanent so you don't have to worry). Yes, I have noticed that there are a lot of canadians. I have also noticed a lot of halopedias from the UK. This here (me) is 100% Grade A All American. Now, to the anime question...Yes, I have seen some anime and I have seen FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST(not all of them). Some animes are good but I'm more partial to the more "adult" animes like Cowboy Bebop(yeah I know it's old), Ghost in the Shell(movie), tekken(more manga related). When I was younger, I went through a phase where I was a Gundam Wing nut(hehe...wingnut...=), I even have about 11 models in my closet(all assembled) and my favorite is Wing Zero(of course). Yes, I am aware that today is hitler's birthday, it is also the same day as the columbine shooting which is why some schools closed down from mock threats of gunfare. As for the AVC, I never really got a straight answer from RR. Esemono created and/or overhauled most of the articles here, Relentless has done a lot of technical work with templates, forums, all that rot, and I started the campaign to categorize all of the images here. If you want to win that award, think of something really big and really useful you can do, and do it now while no one else is really doing much, so you'll be the only person noticed and all that. You can promote yourself, but you cannot promote yourself to any rank you want. If you are a Private, you can only be promoted to a PFC. If you are a Corporal, then to a Sergeant. From Sergeant to Staff Sergeant, from there to Master Sergeant and onwards. You have to stay in order. =D --

I'm just giving you some helpful advice. I was a "down-to-earth" user for most of my stay at HaloFanon, and I still am here. You just need to learn to live with what you've got. I've never recieved an award or been nominated for administratorship, but you don't hear me whining. I know how you feel though, man. Don't worry. Make some more Mainspace edits (non Talk page) and be helful around the site, and people will like you.
