New Video Feature Edit

Hello Lishkee,

What I think are some positive uses of this function is to instead put videos from Katura instead of YouTube. That could mean anything from a Halo 3 glitch video to one of my Halopedia's Funniest awards.

Though I couldn't give you any articles I think could use this function.

Thank you and have a good day!

I also think that the feature will be useful for adding a lot of images to certain articles. A lot of thorough articles have many images that can support them, but until now we have had to use a clumsy-looking "gallery" feature in these pages to show all of the images. Putting one of these video features on part of an article will allow users to view one "slideshow" of images and media, instead of cluttering the page with a lot of seperate images. Articles like this include everything from characters like John-117 and Cortana to walkthroughs on some of the levels of the games, such as The Maw. --ED15px 06:48, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

As ED said, it may help with image clutter--we've got a lot of images that we're just shoving onto pages in less-than-ideal places. I think articles about glitches and easter eggs would benefit the most from any kind of video, but collaborative videos especially, in the how-to sections of said articles. I dunno about ten top pages that would be good... because they're a lot more than that, really! I think that, as soon as they get started using it, Halopedians will use the video feature for *everything*, really... yeah. =D Guesty-Persony-Thingy 03:05, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

I think this will be especially useful for walkthroughs and other how-to videos. -- Manticore (talk) 11:36, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
