Hello there, sorry for the late response. In response to your questions, the promotions page is checked fairly often, once a week at least. However, considering christmas has just passed and the new year has come, there may be a few delays in responses. There is also less Councilors this term, so that can also affect the response.

For a promotion, we'd expect a decent amount of edits and hard work, however, it is hard to say an exact amount required for a promotion. We'd expect more work the higher rank you were if you wanted a promotion.

Currently I have been rather busy, however, i promise you that your promotion request should be answered within the next few days.

Hello EwCDnaudee,

I would like to thank you for the warning and enthusiasm to hard to report this new users, and I think that's a quality all Halopedians should have.

But, he's only made a few non-serious edits that don't warrant anything but a little slap on the wrist.

Though I will consider a more "long term" punishment if you can prove he made serious vandal edits.

Hi, your election page needs to be moved from the article namespace to the Halopedia namespace, and it should be called Halopedia:Covenant of Halopedia/Elections/Seventh Term to fit in with the format of previous elections. I would have done it myself, but you asked so politely not to edit the page :) Also, it might be a good idea to include all the Halopedia voting rules - think how many new members there are that are unfamiliar with the rules. [edit] The Ban on Gruntijackal

Hello there, I'm Meat and Taters. I've received some complaints on Halo Fanon from a user named Gruntijackal. He says he was banned unfairly on this wikia and the Gears of War wikia. I offered to look into the whole ban issue for him and I've found that he was banned for 3 months because he was supposedly inserting nonsense/gibberish into pages. I've looked into it all I can and I've found that he wasn't doing anything bad... that's if you ask me though. You see, I'm not very informed about how the administrators run and what they consider banworthy.

I'd like to hear from you why he was banned just to be fair to you guys, I understand that you only do what's best for the wiki and that you do a good job of it. So I ask that you show me evidence of what he did wrong and that you give me your opinion of all this.

I know it's none of my buisness about this guy's ban but I hate to see people with huge bans slapped on them... even if they deserve it. I'm trying to be as fair as possible in all this so I dindn't want to jump to the conclusion that you guys banned him for nothing. I don't think you would do that.

If I find that you're right, I'll inform Gruntijackal that I won't help him appeal to his ban and I'll drop the issue.

If you do not want to reveal any information to me about this because you think that it isn't my buisness, please inform me and I'll follow through with what you ask.

EwC, I just feel that you should know that I have an idea for the CoH. See, from what I can imagine, alot of Covenant users can't think of any Covenant related articles to edit, so they can't get promoted as much (I know I have that problem). So here is my idea: maybe, if its in your power, you could add a list of pages Covenent users could edit? It would really help out some of the users who can't think of anything to edit. Hey there. I was recently blocked from Halopedia for a while apparently because of the "abuse of points system." I'd like to know why I wasn't informed or warned beforehand and also why action was decided to be taken when my edits were clearly legit. As far as I knew, I was not very aware of a points system in place (until now...) and as far as I can see, any of the minor edits that I might have made on the page Flood or other pages WERE marked as "minor".

One can hardly blame me for first editing one section, but then seeing atrocious errors in the next one, thus prompting me to edit that section as well. However, if it DOES constitute points abuse, then I'll be sure to avoid it next time.
