[edit] Forerunner's "Joke Section"
It started as a little joke by RR, but now it's getting out of hand. See here. I'm fine with a little joke on someone's userpage, I'll even tolerate numerous copies of it once we know what's going on, but now he's putting innappropriate jokes at the bottom of his page. The first one is just stupid and not funny, but the other one is offensive in more ways than one:
- Promotes bestiality,
- Insults British army, as bin Laden would be caught if he was in Wales, and
- Insults Muslims, saying that bin Laden can do whatever he wants with them.
I am requesting that this childish nonsense be removed, and, if this kind of stuff from Forerunner continues, that he be given a temporary ban to let him see what's wrong with his actions. Güéߣ¥-∏éҐ∫øñ¥-†ħîИg¥ 18:32, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

- It's not embedded - it is modifyable. It's regarding recent changes and is useful, I assure you.
2. I'm still looking into forum problem. I believe that it's a joint MediaWiki/our coding problem. The code that I implanted into the forum page to make new forum pages may have something to do with it...I'll investigate further. =D

Ed, you sent me an image warning:
Image Your image, Image:Yamnzzin.JPG is a duplicate image of Image:Ultracapt.jpg and will probably Deleted. Halopedia has a policy of not having dulicate images, so please look in our Image categories for an image before uploading a file. -ED 20:45, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

As you are probably aware, there are substantial problems with the forums - new topics are not listed on the main forum page. This is a problem occuring on other Wikis as well, which I am trying to rectify if it is a local problem, and which Wikia, Inc. will correct if it is a MediaWiki problem.
Also, please enter:

Into MediaWiki:Sitenotice. I have done a large amount of research on MediaWiki v1.9, which we have just upgraded to last night, and am just detailing the ramifications of the upgrade and also announcing the forum breakdown.

Dear Ed,
I'm pleased to announce that I have fixed the forums. The error was caused by an error in MediaWiki v1.9, but my measure is a (fully functional) stopgap before the Central Wiki fixes it and reloads it onto Halopedia.

I thought users could only do one term in a row for the Fan Art Committee. However, Ryangreenday is running for re-election, is this allowed? [edit] Unyielding Hierophant pic
Ed, how come we know a lot more about unsc technology then covenant, and not many pic's of there starships. I mean we have the discriptions of these vessels in the halo books, but bungie only shows three typs of covenant ships in the curent halo games, and high chaity only shows covenant battle cruiers in there large fleet. Same goes with the Unyielding Hierophant, the "larger cariers" and the "five bubus section ship" in halo first strike, why is bungie so reluctent to show these ships or picks?--Admiral Sozai Nexes

- The Halo series is going in a different direction tahtn other sci-fi universes. Halo is immensely popular and makes huge money for bungie, as well as keeping fans like us hooked on it. Someday they may publish technical manuals, starship and fleet schematics, and the like, but for now, they have only limited manpower, and are pushing for quality over quantity. And with the movie and other games to follow(Halo 3,halo wars), halo will proably attract more people. but they have made hundreds of books and novels that tell the whole story, staship discriptions can easly take phsical form within a persons mind, but do they ultmetly fit the apperance of the vessel in pics? bungie could at least give some sort of art, silluate, or model.
