I Just finished Re-reading Halo: Fall of Reach and I realized Reach fell within a matter of less than two hours according to the novels, wheras in the Game Halo: Reach it took over a month for the Covenant to conquer Reach.
I have to admit personally that I prefer the Games time-frame of a month of hard battles, rather than the hour-and a half of the Novel...
Anybody else notice the difference?
