Halo Alpha

We all know that some people hated Halo 4 because it felt like CoD to them, and I can understand why. The loadout system, it's safe to say 343 fucked up making it.

Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 were all Arena style shooters. Halo Reach and Halo 4 were Loadout shooters. There was a major difference from Reach and 4, being that Halo 4 let you customize your loadouts.

Loadouts

I felt that Halo 4 had some change in it, and that the people that didn't like it couldn't handle change, but when I saw all these people using Auto Turrets and Hardlight Shields I realized why they didn't like it. I do think arena is a better way of handling a game like Halo, but Halo 4's custom loadouts did not bother me in any way.

With the addition of Legendary Slayer in gametypes, I feel like they were trying to correct this. I don't think that was a smart move on their part to not be consistent with the way they were doing things.

What do you think? Do you think the future of Halo should be based on Arena or Loadout styles?
