It's no secret that the original Halo trilogy has some of the best, if not the very best map design in gaming history. And while not on par with Halo 1-3, Halo: Reach and Halo 4 had some real gems in them too, and that's excluding remakes. However, having such renowned maps isn't always a good thing, as it often means other great maps, like Isolation, Snowbound and the Halo PC BTB maps, get overshadowed.
One of the million reasons I like TMCC is that it will give these maps a second chance - they'll no longer be restricted by being PC-exclusive, or DLC; all maps will be free and included on the disk, giving them all equal exposure. I hope that after TMCC, some of the more underrated ones will shine through as classics, get remakes, etc.
What multiplayer maps do you consider unsung classics, and would like to see given more praise?
As I've said, mine are Isolation, Snowbound, Death Island, Danger Canyon, Infinity, Ice Fields, Gephyrophobia and Timberland.
