Now, I'm going to embark on creating a combined page, like the shotgun page, for the shade pages. Currently it's very messed up, because when I merged them, I never sorted the page out;I literally copied and pasted the Ball Turret page into the shade page. The reason why I want a combined page, and not separate pages, is that otherwise I can't put it into the vehicles template, and will also be slightly disorganized. Now, I plan to have this page layout:

  • Halo:CE Shade
  • Halo 2 Shade
  • Type-26 ASG
• Changes in design and tactics

• Sources

Note:The Halo 2 one is a shade, and proof is:it's mentioned on Bungie player stats that all Covie anti-infantry stationary guns are called shades. This is also one of them, and is therefore a shade. I discussed it with Ajax and several other Halopedians on IRC before, and they too agreed that it is a shade. Also, it's also been referred to by Bungie to be the successor of the Halo:CE shade, and the predecessor of the Halo 3 shade.

After that, I'll list this in the Vehicles category, not the weapons one, because it is shown many times in the games, manuals and Bungie player stats that it's classified as a vehicle, not a weapon.

• Just needs some minor grammatical and spelling clean-up. There are some spacing problems. I have an issue with the [[Covenant]]'s vs [[Covenant|Covenant's]] thing. I prefer the 2nd way myself, but I leave that up to the user themselves. Over all, its very good! -- AJ

• I have a few ideas that i think should be included in the shade project. Firtly, if this is going to replace the shielded turret pages too, there should be a decent section about the major changes in the defense offered between variations of turrets. My last idea is that there should be a section on the shade turret mounted on shadows. You should mention that, whilst the shade turret changes shape in Halo 2, the turret mounted on Shadows are very similarly shaped to the turrets in Halo CE.--HaloDude

• Nah, don't merge the Sheilded Cannon, it doesn't seem close enough to the other Shades at all. The Shadow however, I agree.--Killroy
