Biography==

S-131, Smith, is a Spartan II that has been considered as MIA since the fall of Reach. He escaped Reach with the help of ONI Colonel James M. Howards, onboard the UNSC Frigate Scavenge. ONI knew of his state of living, but prevented to releace it to the public. He worked on Spec Ops missions against the Elites until 2556, when he was transfered to the UNSCDF of Earth.

Early LifeEdit

Born in 2511 on Planet Arcadia, Smith was abducted by ONI and sent to reach for particiment in the Spartan II program. He was skilled in tecs and mechanics, wich gave him the ablity to be the first spartan to test the Mark V MJOLNIR armor. Smith had a close relation ship with Kurt-051, and was dissapointed when shipped away to serve first missions against rebels.

Human-Covenant WarEdit

When the human covenant war broke out in 2525, Smith was sent undercover to Harvest by ONI to gather intelligence, and was wounded in the right shoulder by a covenant energy sword.

In 2530, Smith was fitted with experemental Mark Five armor, wich at the time was smiply called 'MBS'. The suit was far too expensive to reproduce, and the lab that developed was forced to destroy all info during a covenant attack. Because of theese reasons, Smith was the first

Spartan to wear Mark Five, let lone sheilding systems.

In 2531, on Arcadia, Smith served on the front lines defending what he could remember of his home. His CO was Captain James Howards, and the two men shared a freindship.

Smith was also converted to mark six before any other spartan, some time in 2535
