The UNSC Minotaur was a UNSC destroyer. The Minotaur saw action at the Battle of Reach where it was destroyed by the Covenant Supercruiser flagship.
The Covenant ship fired a needle-thin lance of energy, which struck the Minotaur's aft on A deck, burned a ten-meter wide hole through the ship, destroyed the reactor, and finally exiting on the H deck near the engines, cutting it in half, and destroying it completely in a matter of seconds.[1].
