The UNSC Alliance was a United Nations Space Command frigate. In 2552, it responded to the distress signal sent by Commander Jacob Keyes of the UNSC Iroquois in the Sigma Octanus System and moved to reinforce the Iroquois.^[1]^{[notes 1]}

↑ This vessel is mentioned as the "Alliance" on page 145 of Halo: The Fall of Reach, but then called the "Allegiance" on page 154. This is likely an inconsistency on the part of the author. In the 2010 re-issue, the vessel is referred as to "Allegiance" in both instances.
