Dr. Tobias Fleming Shaw[1] ScD, QeD, FRS, along with Dr. Wallace Fujikawa, was the co-creator of the Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine in 2291, the first device that allowed humanity to reach space locations beyond their solar system[2].
He held the title "Doctor of Science" and was renowned for his work in the field of quantum electrodynamics.
[edit] Trivia
- He was also likely from Great Britain or Ireland as he held the title of Fellow of the Royal Society, a distinction awarded to British and Irish scientists.
- Shaw's first name Tobias may be a reference to Tobias S. Buckell, who was hired to write Halo: The Cole Protocol around the time the name was revealed.[3].
