Does anyone know the average lifespan of a Sangheili? I know the Arbiter is at least 72 years old by 2558 but where does that stand on Sangheili matuarity? Adult? Middle Aged? Elderly? I don't think it's elderly though...
i dont know the lifespan of sangheili, but lets think for moment of humans. its the year 2558. medical treatment etc. is by far higher than todays. it would be no surprise to me if the human average lifespan is about 200 years. it is actually considered that the human average lifespan will be about 100 years by the year 2100. and dont forget about
johnson looked to me like about 40〜45 years old, but actually was 68 years old at the time of his death.
we know that the arbiter very fast got to the rank of a kadon. thats making him seem young.
I think Elites live like 261 years. But you are wrong. Yes the technology has improved in Halo compared to today but with the expansion of humanity into the stars that means it takes months to get from Earth all the way to Harvest.
For example, when America was first discovered it took months to cross the ocean and back. There was no way that Spain could have set up any of its medical institutions in 1492, the date America was discovered by Cristopher Columbus. So yes, people on earth or mars will live to be 200 assuming they weren't give cancer by covenant radiation, but people living on Sedran or as far out as Harvest would die at 65 due to the harsh way of life. Same with people living in the dark zone of reach, like in the mission "The Winter Contigency."
Lord of the STARS wrote: Did you know in the 18 hundreds explorers in north America have reported finding """""Indians who have white skin blond hair and blue eyes.""""?
That's because before the US was a thing, some explorers settled down with some native women and had children so the blue eye genes, blonde hair genes, pale skin genes got put into the genetic pool. Plus there's the chance of albinoism.
In the book Halo: Shadow of Intent, it's shown that a sangheili in his 9th decade [in his 90s] is pretty old, and most old sangheili take guard duty to remain useful in their age. If 90 is considered old, then their life span is similar, if not a little longer than that of humans.
