Ahhhh :) so you have all your production focused on military, but none focused on getting food, or clothing, or house tools, or even a roof to sleep under yes? I know sangheili are afraid of advances in medicine, but none the less, this provides my people with more jobs :)
My people have let ourselves be blinded by honor and false faith. It's mainly because the san'shyuum segregated the various Covenant species to seperate roles to make us easier to control, but at the same time, we should have been wiser and not abandoned the ability to sustain ourselves. You must also understand that blood is honor. That is why a doctor who makes his living by cutting into people and causing them to bleed is not a very well respected profession amongst sangheili. I will admit that we need to adapt, but that is easier said than done when so many are blinded by the old ways and the faith of our forefathers.
I personally believe the opposite of what sangheili do about blood. Sangheili believe, if you lose blood, you lose honor, I believe, if you lose blood, lose it for the cause of honor. But anyway, what is most needed at the time? food? I can pervade that to some extenses. Education? I can try to provide that.
Now that I think of it, you kig-yar were probably the least affected by the Covenant's disolvement.
We may have been great at finding loop holes to avoiding true enslavement as best as possible to a religion we where already smart enough to know was a scam, but we still failed to figure out that the rings probably do something we should fight to keep from finding out.
Basically, not only did we not believe in the religion, we actively disrespected it when ever possible to get away with, but where allowed to live for it dew to being deadly in combat, and bribable. But for that, a low rank.
All Kig-yar did, was get payed to do what we always did, but for the covenant. What we did before the covenant, during, and after.
My people on the other hand are spread out into several factions and are locked in a civil war.
Now I see why, they want to survive, no one knows how, and they argue over how to stay alive. The food part I did say I can help with, remember the terraformed asteroid? Plants on it grow huge! We can maybe grow Irukan.
You know something I just thought of, Kig-yar have always been pirates, ever since the first family breathed life, of all species in the galaxy, you would think ours would have learned by now one of the most preciouses of lesions. No matter how much we try to put value on money, aside from what those in power say money will never have any value at all what so ever. But treasure, is the complete opposite of money. It has a value money can never amount to in its least dirty form, a meaning as great as any name, a beauty nothing can compare to, and a purpose nothing, espeashely not money, can ever have. And it comes in more forms then just what one can put in some old box. So many fight to obtain the wrong price. Only truth can guide one to the thing he truly desires, that which will satisfy. But why? why, do so few ever find this out?
