      Play Halo 4 as Arbiter(I mean in Sangellio or in that part of the universe.) Have an Arbiter trilogy.

      Brutes in halo 3 used power armour which you could just remake so that they dont explode when shields are down,and in halo Reach they had some with normal armour and the brute cheiftans had energy shields,so it proves that both brutes and elites could use shielding on their armour

      Earth is destroyed by an unexplained force and millions of people die. There is a new person that you get to be. He was on a ship with some other UNSC officers and stuff, anf they crash land on a planet. No one has ever heard of this planet before. But, it turns out that a couple of covenent ships also crash landed on this planet. But, dangers arive as people go missing and sightings of dragon-like creatures have been heard. It turns out that it sis a lizard like species with wings. It also turns out that they are the ones that blew up earth. But why?

    • 3-way firefight.  Hemorage.  Remanent drop in phantoms by their base by the sea.  Give you and some ODSTs the other base. 

      Flood come over the mountain and thru the cave with infantry and vehicles. These might include mongooses, all warthogs, ghosts, and wraiths.  You can comandeer any of these vehicles for yourself.  The flood attacks you and the Remanent.

      one falcon(forge version, two side guns not being used by flood) hovers over each base.  Two carrier forms fall off falcon and explode on ground.

      P.S. it is possible to kill the pilot and commandeer the falcon, but you need people to operate turrets.

    • Is the choices of vehicles becoming less and less fantastic in design, as well as mobility, variety, and firepower, or is that just me. Personally, I'd like to see a larger variety of vehicles to chose from (including ALL of the classics and new gen, and also, using the Mammoth in the campaign would be AMAZING). I would also like to see these vehicles placeable/usable in the Forge. Selectable alternate colors and skins would add luster to the single and multiplayer gameplay. Another interesting idea would be allowing all of the "extra" vehicles, like the cars along the side of the bridge on the "" of halo two, to be driveable and usable in forge would add a large ammount of capabilities for more fun game modes. One last thing: adding a Maximum monetary and maximum part type-specific capacity was a huge barrier upon a gamer's creativity to build. I'm not saying that people have done extremely creative things on Forge, but the capability to do more could be implimented. I know that removing the limit completely would make for a lot of graphic problems due to the large amount of data being used. Still, a part type-specific capacity? Really? Thanks Bungie for the great game series, but I feel limited. On a personal note, thanks for ruining Halo Microsoft. They should also add more space missions for campaign and new maps and modes formultiplayer gameplay, as well as allowing the use of major ships, minor fighters, space stations, and other various vehicles that are important to gameplay (e.g. the Scarab and the Pelican). A huge 16v16 battle in space, between two doc-able ships (or even two space stations) would add a gamestyle that is completely unique. Imagine it: space battles with ship vs. ship, station vs. station, usable turrets, ground- and close- quarter battles, and to top it all off, Having Master Chief be able to fly through space unharmed. The war would never be the same again...

We may be looking at another storyline or something, but we are however specifically looking at the gameplay and how everything functions with game flow. Especially multiplayer mechanics. Post any questions and they will be answered as soon as possible. Please post ideas and help us in our endeavor.

      Your going to make a mechanic?:) can we use point defense gauntlets as a melee weapon?     • noble 6 was a Spartan 3. btw thanks for reviving this thread, I keep getting a dream that 34ungii put me in charge of designing the mechanics for playing as a Kig-yar. This is how I designed health to work... XC613YX.png Your max health is 80 your max armor is 174 and yes my troops really do have a point defense gauntlet that strong. You repair armor by scavenging armor pieces from both enemies and enemy machines, your shield recharges on its own, you get your health back both from first aid kits and by eating things, and also it finishes recharging all on its own in 7 minuets. Do you think they would be able to handle that if they where to ever actually listen to me? btw where I got the idea to do that is from a video posted earlier in this thread. As well as other video games.

    • I just hope the new Halo games could at least insert some originality

      Like introducing new yet somewhat original alien species, being able to play as a Promethean in multiplayer or somewhat prequel event in a new Halo game, bring forth new Flood forms besides the zombie-esque Combat Forms of Humans, Elites, Brutes, Grunts, and Jackals, more space battles in a similar vein of various Space Combat Simulator games like Starlancer and Freelancer, riding animal fauna on the worlds in the Haloverse, bring back power ups, and faster-pace gameplay

      In Halo Alpha & Omega, in the Alpha section where you're on planet Arcadia most of the time cleaning up the damages the Covenant did after Halo Wars, but when the Covenant returned for the second battle of Arcadia, you and the UNSC must any kind of weaponry necessary to repel the invasion and save the inhabitants of Arcadia from going extinct by the Covenant glassing the whole planet. In the Omega section as the second half of Halo Alpha & Omega, you and your surviving team adventure onto a strange, unidentified planet called "Empyrus", a world covered in futuristic machinery and somewhat digital cyberspace (pretty much a familiar resemblance of Cybertron from Transformers and the GRID from TRON), where its unknown if its Forerunner technology or somebody else's. Here the UNSC must recover the Forerunner Keyship whom the Insurrectionists (led by a rogue Spartan) got their hands on after they stolen it from the Covenant Heretics. The Covenant seems to want the Keyship back (after it was proclaimed by their battle network it was stolen by said Heretics) and they're get through force by any means. The Empyrean cities are operated by Huragok and Sentinels who're assigned to protect the planet from intruders under the instructions of their Lifeworker masters. You must rally your team and the marines scattered across the planet the lead them to the final assault against the Covenant, Heretics, and Insurrectionists whom are hunting down a powerful Forerunner Dreadnaught-esque Fortress Battleship and Superweapon capable of destroying planets entirely. 

      I believe in Halo Wars 2 it would focus on the events of the Forerunner-Flood War, the Human-Covenant War, and eventually what's going on the Reclaimer Saga. 

      Well, in Halo: Forsaken Warrior it not only focus on the events of the Reclaimer Saga in a different perspective but at the same time playing a young Brute raised by an Elite after the Great Schism event.

      Here's some aliens I got in the line-up:

      1. Argis (shamanistic tribal race who're pretty much a benevolent version of Brutes)

      2. Schrika (a malevolent species that attacks both humans and Covenant for pilage and plundering reasons, they're rebellious guerilla terrorists by the Covenant)

      3. Lemurmosets (scavengers and thieves who steal anything metal for their own use, they look like lizard-monkey-rats) 

      4. Exodomorphs (a ravenous, hive race of carnivorous, infectious, reptilian-esque insectoids and anthropods who're deemed "soulless abominations" by the Covenant and "Meat-Eaters" by UNSC)

But yes playable hunters would be so cool. I'd imagine to get your health back you have extra worms combine with you to replace the damaged pieces of your body.

One of two thing's NEEDS to happen here, much like with ODST where thry switched the view from the Spartans in general, they need to make a game revolving around the UNSC Marines, Army Rangers, Navy, Pilots, etc. Except not as bad as ODST, make it, instead of focusing on one place, put the main character on a UNSC ship and have them go to different planets, but the ship wouldn't just be for loading sequences, you could be a Marine and have to do thing's around the ship or interact with the UNSC servicemen around you, hell, it could even be a clan thing for multiplayer, could you imagine an entire clan commanding a UNSC ship in a persistant universe?! With the money Halo has made, they could do that! SOE made a peristant world game with little money from their first of the Planetside games. The second thing they could do is have no story at all. Imagine choosing your side in the conflict, UNSC or the Covenant, choosing your race/job in that system and that going to war on multiple planets, I can see ALL of the thing's going on in that, being on the ground in a heated firefight or in the aire providing air support, or being in control of an ORION battlecruiser rushing to help against a large Covenant force, or even being a Longsword pilot to go and intercept Scarab craft from entering the atmosphere of the planet your attempting to attack. Of course, there has to be limitations, honestly I would be OK if there was no Spartan class for the UNSC, because to be honest, a lot of people would go for it and it would make the whole lore false considering they are not too many and an elite group. These are just some ideas that would take awhile to make, but the product would be amazing. One more thing, Bungie needs to expand back out to PC and Playstation, I think Halo and Halo 2 were fun because I could hold LAN parties and do thing's like that instead of playing at my friends house on a split screen TV.

The Grunts lose if the Spartan lives for 5 minutes. The Grunts win when the Spartan dies. A whole brand new Juggernaut, basically, just the Juggernaut can't be transferred to another player.

      Ah yes, but the grunts are still being played by a player, so with the right skill that's still 10 vs 1.

    • hey so i know this thread is dead but fuck it i want to say my suggestion, so basically this is a skin system for armour now i don't now bout you but i think this would be cool like say you got an EVA helmet at say sr18 now for each helmet and armour piece there are 3 skins default classic badass for EVA it would be the Halo 3 fishbowl design and for badass You could unlock emile's helmet i know it's late for halo 5 but i hope in a game after that it happens anyway tell me what youse think

Of course, there has to be limitations, honestly I would be OK if there was no Spartan class for the UNSC, because to be honest, a lot of people would go for it and it would make the whole lore false considering they are not too many and an elite group. These are just some ideas that would take awhile to make, but the product would be amazing. One more thing, Bungie needs to expand back out to PC and Playstation, I think Halo and Halo 2 were fun because I could hold LAN parties and do thing's like that instead of playing at my friends house on a split screen TV.

      i would LOVE  a game like that! heck, i could even try to make it happen! me and some people i know are making a new game based on an idea from someone earlier in this thread about abother game on reach, after the covenant glassed it. but we could make this idea as well, about you playing as a marine, working up the ranks, free roaming in space, having space battles, etc.

    • Finish off the Original Trilogy of halo with Master Chief and all that, and then change it up a little bit, make you play within a Marines Perspective of the War, or even an ODST. I think that would definently change up the formula of the gameplay to make it more team based and not have everyone on the battlefield running around in spartan armor at every fight. This would also make it more challenging for players to experience, obviously this would be a halo game reccommended to Veteran halo players, as the difficulty would be increased because of these tactical changes.

    • Halo 4's story was awful though, outside of the stuff relating to Cortana. The Didact had no motives explained in the game (you had to read a trilogy of novels (or watch the terminals, which dumbed everything down) to know why he hated humans), the whole thing with the Librarian planning out everything that happened at the end of the Human-Covenant war was just plain stupid (from a logical perspective and a storytelling one), Andrew Del Rio not believing Chief for being an "aging Spartan" was dumb because Chief was only a few hours older than he was at the end of Halo 3, etc. I could go on.

      Halo 5's MP I agree with, as long as they were to remove the REQ system, improve Warzone spawning and stop re-using base structures over several WZ maps and just make new bases for each map.

      IMO, it should be either Halo 3: ODST's story or the latter part of Halo 3's (i.e. from The Ark to Halo, but expanded across an entire game rather than four levels) with either Halo 3's multiplayer (but with hitscan rather than projectile weapons, where appropriate) or Halo 5's (with the changes mentioned above).

    • 1. So what if we have to a little work to know the backstory of the Didact. It would be obviously stupid for the chatacter to explain his entire lifestory to Chief just so we would know who he is. But obviously they went goddamn stupid with the outside content with 5, and some weren't even listed as essential to the game when they obviously were (Saints Testimony anyone??). They had a good balance of the content in Halo 4 only to ruin it in 5

      I disagree. They didn't need to tell his whole life story to explain that he hated humans because of the Human-Forerunner war. I do agree that he was completely wasted in the with the pre-Halo 5 content, though. I mean, they killed him in a really stupid way in that horrible Next 72 Hrs story arc (which really needs a good retconning), just to get him out of the picture so Cortana could be the main villain.

      343 is just being stubborn not to admit their mistakes in the story, and even the multiplayer. While I like the multiplayer, its really buggy ( stupid invincible phantom gunner). They're not admitting these mistakes, they're not talking to the community about these issues, they're super stubborn.

      As this is a thread about ideas, I recommend that 343 do what these guys did with their game and do the same to Halo 5. By the way, I do recommend the game mentioned, it is such a great game, even though it pay to play.

      Also, I do agree about the multiplayer (particularly Warzone) being buggy, but the invincible Phantom gunner isn't a glitch. That's just how Phantom gunners are in Halo 5 (which is extremely stupid), despite the fact you could kill them in every other Halo since Halo 3.

    • So, now Halo 5 you have your normal req packs that give cosmetic items as well as war zone reqs. I think it would be great to add a few pack just for cosmetics. I would call it a spartan pack. It would promise 2 common to rare and one ultra rare to legendary. This could range from armor to visors to assassinations etc. I think it should cost a little less than a gold pack. Maybe 8,000 req points.

    • What about a game where the Covenant have allied with humanity, and there is now a huge war against the Flood? Maybe with a Spartan-V as the protagonist, and yes I know they don't exist yet. Yet. Chief plays a supporting role, but you never play as him, but rather with him. Maybe the Flood have captured him and are interrogating him, and you have to find and rescue him, kind of like Halo 3 with Cortana? All while Cortana and the Created are trying to take over the universe, but you and Chief talk sense into her and she reallies with the UNSCovenant?
