Nobody has been fired. The internal teams were disbanded, and absorbed by the other group working on Halo Wars. -- Councillor Specops306 - Kora 'Morhek 07:17, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Even the concept of having a MMO of Halo sounds ridiculous. Thank god they abandoned the project...Little_Missy - Cortana Gif 12:52, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Two years later I'm still really bummed about this. I'd be a hell of a lot more interested in exploring the Halo universe than I am in, well, any other MMO available right now, frankly, with the exception of maybe World of Warcraft, which is widely acknowledged as the king of the genre. I know this project is as dead as Ensemble, but I hope Microsoft greenlights a new Halo MMO someday. Captain J 00:51, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

How would this work? Each Elite would be a mini boss if you were a marine and there would be so many contradictions.Fuzz 21:24, June 1, 2011 (UTC)

@Fuzz Then either the elites would be mini bosses and the "normal" enemies would be differently ranked grunts, or it would be that the elites are playable and the enemies are different flood. There can be flexibility to this. It would have opened up Halo to not just FPS and RTS, but also MMO. I think it was a pretty large mistake on Microsofts part. People love having stuff to work towards. That's why I can't wait for Halo 4's customizable multiplayer system to come out. Vinlux (talk) 20:56, July 10, 2012 (UTC)
