  • DELETE - While my speciality isn't UNSC I know that these units of troops have A)Never been mentioned and B)the claim that they haven't changed in 500 years is a true sign of pagan lies! -- Fist of Rukt 04:18, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
  • KEEP - While I don't remember seeing Platoon in the Halo novels, but I might be mistaken, but if they are mentioned, we should put what we know about them, and not delete the whole article. -- Uneven elephant 17:43, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Other then the numbers in the squads nothing really might be chaged in the 500 year difference. As seen in halo the flood 2nd Lt's are platoon comanders. The author based all the militry stuff in the book on the american marines of today so this shouldnt be deleted, even though it seemed that deleting it has been forgotten.--ME The Great 18:00, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

But he also turned the Chief into an OMG SUPAR MAREEN ONE ONE ONE. Dietz can't be trusted on everything...or anything, really. -The Dark Lord Azathoth 20:27, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
