Struggle for Ideological Purity

The Struggle for Ideological Purity was a period during the Covenant's history. Little is known about the events of this period of time, other than the Commando Harness being modeled after a group of Covenant heroes from this period.[1] Based on the name, it was likely an attempt to quell alternative belief systems amongst the species of the Covenant and bolster confidence in the Great Journey, possibly coinciding with the Age of Doubt.
