Special Weapons And Tactics, also known as SWAT, are specialized units in UNSC law-enforcement agencies which are trained to perform dangerous and high-risk operations. These can include serving high-risk arrest warrants, performing hostage rescue and armed intervention, preventing terrorist attacks, and engaging heavily-armed criminals. SWAT teams are equipped with specialized firearms including assault rifles, submachine guns, shotguns, carbines, riot control agents, stun grenades, and high-powered rifles for marksmen. They often have specialized equipment including heavy body armor, entry tools, armored vehicles, and night vision optics.
