Special Warfare Command, abbreviated to SPECWARCOM, is a special forces branch of the United Nations Space Command, directly subordinate to Unified Ground Command and indirectly to UNSC High Command.^[1][2] It was the branch to which Lieutenant Commander Kurt Ambrose and Senior Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez reported. Given the fact that the two men were in turn subordinate to Colonel James Ackerson, a UNSC Army officer attached to the Office of Naval Intelligence, SPECWARCOM is most likely the special forces branch for ground forces, which is mainly the UNSC Army. Known units under SPECWARCOM include Special Warfare Group Three, to which Noble Team reported to Colonel Urban Holland.^[3]
