Randall is a SPARTAN-II super soldier who may have been Killed In Action in 2532. However, Dr. Catherine Halsey considers him one of the few Spartans truly MIA.[1] Little is known of him, except that he was not as sociable as Kurt-051.[1]
A possible Halo 3: ODST easter egg has been interpreted as corresponding to Randall. The license plate reads "KMA 037R" which presumably stands for "Missing in Action, Randall-037". (Note that the "K" is commonplace in the plates and does not represent the word "killed")
