Sergeant is a Halo 3 Xbox Live multiplayer rank.[1]

Sergeant is the rank that is higher than a Corporal, but is lower than a Gunnery Sergeant.
Grade 1 is represented by 3 gold chevrons. Grade 2 has a gold pip directly underneath the gold chevrons. Grade 3 has another gold pip underneath the previous pip.
Achieving Sergeant Grade 1 unlocks the UNSC Spartan achievement for 15 gamerscore and the Mark V helmet for Spartans.

Global Ranks
- Grade 1 requires 20 EXP to attain
- Grade 2 requires 30 EXP to attain
- Grade 3 requires 40 EXP to attain
Individual Ranks
- Grade 1 requires 12 EXP to attain
- Grade 2 requires 15 EXP to attain
- Grade 3 requires 20 EXP to attain
