Sean Stewart is a senior employee at 4orty2wo Entertainment. He is the creative and story director for the company's productions.

Summary[]

Sean is an award-winning novelist as well as a pioneer in interactive and multimedia fiction. At 42 Sean has overall responsibility for story development, and directs the company’s writing teams on client and content efforts. Sean also serves as a Creative Director on selected efforts.

Sean has published nine novels, including the New York Times Notable Book Mockingbird, the World Fantasy Award-winning Galveston, and 2004’s Perfect Circle, a story about an aging punk who sees ghosts. Stewart's most recent novel is Cathy’s Book, a 42 Entertainment title created with Jordan Weisman in which the story spills beyond the printed page into drawings, documents, websites you can visit and telephone numbers you can really call. Cathy’s Book will be published in October 2006.

Sean has written, designed, directed, and even acted in a large number of interactive narratives, including ilovebees and 2001’s The Beast, which Internet Life called “The Citizen Cane of online entertainment.”

He worked as lead writer and designer for ilovebees, the precursor to Halo 2. He also was one of the puzzle designers for the mini game.
