Sanj'ik

Sanj'ik was a female Sangheili Weapons Master (engineer) who served during the Third Battle of Harvest in 2531. [1] She upgraded a squadron of Type-26 "Banshee" GSAs with improved Fuel Rod Cannons that increased their lethality and rate of fire.

- Sanj'ik is the first female Sangheili ever mentioned in the Halo universe and the only known Weapons Master.
- Sanj'ik does not have the traditional "-ee" suffix at the end of her name, as most Sangheili, albeit males, do. Whether this has anything to do with her gender or rank is currently unknown.
