Rick Ryan is a programmer and technical producer of video games. In 1995, he was the technical producer and lead programmer of Secret of Evermore, an adventure game created by SquareSoft .

In 2001, he served as the head producer of Halo: Combat Evolved. He then came back and served that same role in 2003 for the Halo PC. Rick then went on to produce MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf (Xbox) in 2004. From there, Rick went on to work on a few MMO titles that were never released as technical producer for Microsoft Games Studios. He then was technical engine producer for the Xbox title 1 vs. 100. It was a massively multiplayer online Xbox Live adaptation of the trivia game show of the same name. This game surpassed the Guinness world record for "most contestants in a game show" with over 114,000 simultaneous players.
