Promesa was a city on Andesia. It was known as a research center for biotech consortiums,[2] and a hub for shopping.[1]

Insurrection[]

When the Insurrection broke out on Andesia, turf wars between rebels, criminals, corrupt security forces, and UEG peacekeepers became commonplace.[2]
Theoretical Abandonment[]
As part of training for teams returning to abandoned Outer Colonies, War Games designers on the UNSC Infinity created a simulation of what could have happened to Promesa.[3] Many landmarks and buildings were reclaimed by nature in this hypothetical scenario.[4]
