Prelate of High Charity was a religious title within the Covenant religion held exclusively by San'Shyuum.[1] Prelates had jurisdiction over High Charity's clerics.[1] The title became technically defunct following the loss of High Charity to the Flood and its subsequent destruction.
Only two Prelates of High Charity are known. The first is the Prophet of Restraint, who held the title sometime prior to the 23rd Age of Doubt.[citation needed] The second is Tem'Bhetek, who held the title at the end of the 9th Age of Reclamation and continued to claim the title in 2553.[2]
