Pakistan is one of the many countries on the human homeworld of Earth. It is located in south-west Asia. It is in the region known as the Middle East. Pakistan is one of the last Islamic Republics remaining on Earth in the 26th century. It has radically modernized itself, however, and is not as harsh a region as it once was. [1]

It is bordered by the country of Afghanistan to the west, India to the east, China to the north, and Iran to the southwest.

[edit] Battle of Western Pakistan

The Battle of Western Pakistan took place on the Pakistani-Afghan border in late 2552. It is speculated that the UNSC was victorious over the Covenant Loyalist forces. The battle was eventually won because of the arrival of Spartan-117.
