Operational Test and Evaluation Center

The primary purpose of the UNSC Operational Test and Evaluation Center (UNSCOTEC) is to reduce risk during an acquisition process by determining how well systems perform when operated and maintained by military personnel in operational environments^[1]. A known test was the re-entry and combat capabilities of the MJOLNIR Mk. VI powered assault armor, prior to John-117 receiving it on the MAC Station Cairo.

The 340th ODST Combat Training Unit is attached to UNSCOTEC.
