The ONI Signal Corps is a sub-branch of the ONI, staffed by members of the UNSC Navy and Marine Corps.^[1] The Signal Corps' purpose is to send ships to unpopulated sections of UNSC controlled space to broadcast a large collection of radio transmissions in an attempt to confuse the Covenant, and stop them from locating colonies.^[2]
