The Ministry of Etiology is a branch of the Covenant that dealt with "the study of causes, origins, or reasons," explained by its name. The Minister of Etiology was present at Installation 04, aboard the Infinite Succor, before he was assimilated by the Flood and the ship destroyed in order to stop the Flood.^[1]
