  • Hi,Dab1001 I was wondering what can I do to help the wiki. Can you give some pages that need links or need information because I want to contribute to the wiki. Sincerely, Monitor 267-Esclarion

    • Hey,

Thanks for your help so far. We're glad to have you here. We're definitely in need of more information on some of the more recent Halo novels (2014 - present). If you've got access to any of them, I'd suggest focusing on that. If not, let me know what pieces of Halo media you do have, and I'll let you know which would be best to work on.

      Thanks,

  • Hi Dab1001 this is Monitor 267-Esclarion I would like to say that the info about the San'Shyuum is wrong. Here are example. I got the info from the Halo Books and Comics 1. Their correct height is 213.4cm(7') - 226.1cm(7'5") 2. Their correct weight is 81.4kg or 179.4lbs - 96.6kg or 212.9lbs Also you missed the last Minister of Preparation (Boru'a'Neem) and the Second Administor to the High Prophet of Truth. He is also the descendant of the High Prophet of Truth (Zo Resken)

    • You're correct about the heights and weights. The info currently on the page is probably from an old source. You can go ahead and change it.

As far as I know, Halo: Shadow of Intent hasn't been fully documented yet, so that's why the Minister of Preparation isn't listed. However, just so you know, the Prophet of Truth was Ord Casto, not Zo Resken. and Boru'a'Neem was not the Second Administrator to Truth, and nor was he related to him. Zo Resken is the actual Second Administrator to Truth.

    • Hi,

Thanks for your edit. I've cleaned it up a little to fit with how we usually organise our pages. I've removed the section about the language Regret speaks in Halo 2, though, because we don't know what language that was (it was most likely a dialect of Sangheili, which is the language most commonly used within the Covenant).

I recognise the stuff about hand gestures from Halo: Broken Circle, so if you let me know what pages of that book the info came from, I'll add the references like you asked.

If you've got any more questions, I'd be happy to help.

    • Thank you for editing I will try to find what page in Halo: Broken Circle that talks about the San'Shyuum language

  • Personally my fav quote is:

"You say that like soldiers and humanity are two different things. Soldiers aren't machines. We're just people."

"She said that to me once... About being a machine."

I guess "Send me out with a bang" Is cool to.

whats your opinion of halo microtransactions?

  • I was wondering if I could make a couple of changes to the human-covenant war template. This is an example

    Harvest (I)

    Harvest (II)

    Harvest (III)

      Loading editor
    • I think that might end up being a bit confusing. We'd then end up with stuff like Harvest (I) • (...) • Harvest (II), which would definitely be disorienting for readers. My personal opinion would be that it's better off as-is.

  • I've only been on this particular wiki for a short amount of time (well, at least compared to any other wiki) and I've been wondering... Are there any points in time when people use the "Source Editor"?

I've been wondering this because it is very commonly used in another wiki that I use

  • Hello, how are you?

I really enjoy of the franchise for a long time, I was just wondering about something, I know you only take questions for the series itself but I would like to make an invitation to my crossover wikia called Universal Conquest wikia. where armies from different verses battle each other, we could use your support and info for expanding the site.

    • Hi, I'm fine thanks.

At the moment, I'm probably too busy to make any meaningful contributions to your wiki myself, as I'm at uni from 9 'til 6 most days, and I'm barely managing to stay active on Halo Nation. However, I'd be happy to answer any questions you have, if you want to add some Halo info to your wiki yourself. Also, you can use Halo Nation or Halopedia as resources for researching Halo-related topics.

Sorry I couldn't be of much help. Things are just a bit hectic for me right now.

    • that's ok, thanks though, I was really hoping to invite people who are interested in crossover army battles, and hoping to get people to rout for their favorite army. I already have the Covenant on the wiki site.

srry to hear that but thanks for letting me know.

  • Hello, I was just trying to correct this. Installation 04 wasn't avaliable in Halo: CE, so it doesn't make sense to say it was re-released. I also think it's clearer to distinguish Firefight maps from "multiplayer maps". Also, I'm wondering how I can disable visual editor? It messed with the table for some reason. Thanks.

      Loading editor
    • Oh, I figured out how to enable source editor by default. I must have missed it in the preferences before.

        Loading editor
    • I was just writing a message to you to explain why I'd reverted your edits. The short story is that I don't think the fact that the Anniversary map pack is free needs to be mentioned on the CEA page. However, if you'd like to change the wording a bit to make it clear that the Installation 04 Firefight map isn't a remake, go for it.

As for distinguishing Firefight and Multiplayer, personally I tend to regard Firefight as a multiplayer mode, albeit a cooperative one rather than a competitive one. I think the way we've got it now is fine though, as the Firefight map is in a separate section.

Finally, to disable the VisualEditor, go to the "Editing" tab of your preferences. It gives you an option to select your default editor. I agree, the VisualEditor is a bit of a pain.

        Loading editor
    • OK, I'll just amend the wording slightly regarding the Firefight map, to clarify it's not a remake. And yeah true, in Reach it was more of a multiplayer mode. Thanks for the response.
