Today, November 15th, 2009 marks the eighth anniversary of the launch of Halo: Combat Evolved on the Xbox platform in 2001. On behalf of the Halo community, Halopedia would like to thank Bungie Studios, Microsoft Game Studios, and everyone who has worked on the series over the years!

Their methods of infiltration by orbital drops allows them to conduct missions against targets that more conventional forces cannot approach undetected.
