MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Pioneer, or just Pioneer armor, is a MJOLNIR [GEN2] variant used by SPARTAN-IV personnel providing protection to ONI expeditionary groups. Manufactured by Acheron Security and tested at Gdynia, Acheron Fossae, Mars, Pioneer armor is constructed to endure the rigors of a potentially hostile, alien envrionment and to optimize overall performance through inhibitor mitigation.^[1] Pioneer armor was worn by SPARTAN-IV personnel on inital exploration efforts of Installation 03.

Gameplay NotesEdit

Both the base Pioneer armor and the ADEPT armor skin are unlocked by progressing through the PIONEER specialization in Halo 4.
