Design details
Edit
The M12A1 LAAV is one of UNSC's few anti-armor vehicle, designed to quickly and efficiently defeat lightly armored vehicles. Unlike all other M12 variants, the M12A1 can be differentiated by its appearance; the M12A1 Rocket Warthog is painted in black and has yellow paint stripes lined through the base. Its seats are also yellow and its tires have a darker color tone than those of the standard Warthog.
Armament
Edit
The M12A1 is equipped with a mounted 102mm SC-HE Rocket Turret which fires three 102mm rocket projectiles and requires four seconds to reload when the magazine was depleted.
Appearances
Edit
In the E3 2000 Halo: Combat Evolved trailer, the featured Warthog sported a cannon that fired missiles like the M12A1 cannon, but looked like Halo 2's M12G1 LAAV's gauss cannon.
Advantages
Edit
The M12A1 Light Anti-Armour Vehicle is an easy vehicle to maneuver. That means it can easily dodge any allies. It is also very hard to flip. The M12A1 Light Anti-Armour Vehicle is equipped with rocket launchers that fire rockets with three rounds per magazine. This can easily take down any vehicles that are trying to chase the warthog.
