The M1024 ASW/AC 30mm ALA Cannon is a UNSC projectile weapon mounted on single ship starfighters.^[1] A pair of M1024 ASW/AC 30mm ALA Cannon are mounted on the YSS-1000, near the cockpit, as its main armament. It is noticeable that few shots destroy Type-27 XMF and take down the shields of a Seraph. This is odd considering the 50mm MLA point defense guns mounted on larger UNSC vessels take 150 rounds to take out a Seraph's shields. There is the possibility that the Cannons on the Sabre are more powerful than the ones mounted on UNSC vessels, but this is unlikely.
