The Joyride Series 1 was made by Joyride Studios. They were released in the year 2003. This series was the first series of Halo figures made.

CampaignEdit

Master ChiefEdit

The Master Chief Version 1 action figure was based on John-117 in Halo: Combat Evolved. It features 14 points of articulation and is armed with a M6D Pistol, MA5B Assault Rifle, and S2 AM Sniper Rifle.

CortanaEdit

The Cortana action figure is based on the AI, Cortana. Unlike most other figures, the Cortana figure has no points of articulation or accessories. Instead, it features a base that can light up when its button is pressed, causing the entire figure to appear to light up.

WarthogEdit

The Warthog Version 1 action figure is based on the M12 Light Reconnaissance Vehicle. It features 5 points of articulation has a swiveling turret and rotating tires. It also includes a "mini" Master Chief figure and 2 "mini" Marines, one of which is in a permanent seated position, and one in a standing position to operate the chain gun. Also included is an assault rifle for the seated marine.

LabelingEdit

On each action figure unit, Joyride has included a serial number, which allows you to find out when the action figure was created. The date code has four numbers followed by 'SS' actually stamped or embossed in the cardboard. The first three digits are the date the product was made, and the fourth digit is the year. For example: 2653SS means the product was manufactured on the 265th day of 2003 (9/23/2003).[1]
