Installation 06 is one of the seven Halo Rings. Very little is known about it and it has yet to be directly observed. Readouts of the ring on the Ark show it to be covered in blue with few distinguishing features, however, it cannot be said for certain if the ring is an oceanic world or if it is covered in some form of blue rock.^[1]

In 2552, during the Battle of Installation 05, a signal was sent to this Halo Ring from Installation 05, putting it on standby mode. A readout from Installation 05's Control Room showed that Installation 06 was fully prepared to fire on demand.^[2]

A more comprehensive readout was later observed in the Ark, showing the inner ring to be covered in water or some form of blue rock, during the Battle of the Ark by the Arbiter, Master Chief and the Prophet of Truth, once again displaying that Installation 06 was on standby mode, prepared to receive the signal to fire.^[3] However, the Master Chief deactivated the installation before it could be fired.
