The Human Cargo Ship was a type of ship used by the United Nations Space Command in the 2500's [1]. The ship is VTOL capable, due to the strong jet thrusters located on its belly.
These ships seemed to be civilian-operated freighters, but had been requisitioned as evacuation transports by the Arcadian Patrol, used to airlift the inhabitants of Pirth City to safety during the First Battle of Arcadia in 2531. Three of these ships attempted to help colonists escape an assault by Covenant forces. Cargo 3 was destroyed by enemy fire, but the other two ships, Cargo 1 and Cargo 2, managed to take off and escape, saving hundreds from the Covenant's slaughter.
[edit] Trivia
- This starship's bow resembles a Boeing 747, a Human airliner used in the 20th and 21st centuries on Earth.
- Halo Wars is the only game to feature the ships, but they are also included in one of the Halo Legends short films, Prototype.
