Halopedia News wants, no that's not that right word....NEEDS! your feedback!

As you may or may not have noticed, the news has been getting a little slow lately, and a number of our editors are feeling quite bored at the moment. They are absolutely anxious to get back to work and provide our fellow Halopedians with the best fan-approved mail possible on a daily basis. But that's just not our responsibility anymore.

We need your help in showing how we can give you more of what you want and more of what we already have. So it's quite simple really, just give us a little comment on this page of what you want to see (interviews with celebs, interviews with users, reviews, etc.), what you want more of (Updates, Videos, etc.), and more! And for more long term help, give us a little comment here.

You could widen the scope of what you are writing about and start writing about community events like halo.bungie.org does.

No, board blast is disabled, I believe. I tried it so that everyone on my friends list could know it was my *sniffs* birthday June 19th, but it said I had to enter a message before I could send it-and I retried three times with a different message. Same thing. I think they loopholed the code.

You could widen your scope and start writing about all things halo. We are all Halo fans and we will just gobble up any thing that has to do with Halo. Some Interviews with Bungie employes or Halo book writers would be cool to.

I like the ideas of interviews, but perhaps you could try to find out exactly WHO is working on Halo: Reach, because then we could brace ourselves for the awesomeness we will expect, or perhaps even receive some info on the game. Now, maybe you could do community things too, like interviews with major users (*cough* DinoBenn *cough*) other than admins on what they think of Halopedia, how they became major users, e.t.c. Maybe even hosting contests, like the Vault (the Fallout wiki) or even many other wikis have done. Just saying.

How about more stuff like when popular machinimas like Red vs Blues, The Forgotten Spartans or Hard Justice episodes come out? That will be a good idea. Widen the scope a much more.

Here's a few ideas:

1. Write Machinima reviews and give out your personal and biased best opinion about the machinima.
2. Make a cartoon interpretation of the Halo Universe. Such example would be like Halo:CE Chronicles (Refer to B.net)
3. Link up to Halo Fan Fiction Wikia and write some reviews. This would be beneficial to both wikis as users can expand their Halo knowledge and imagination by writing fanon articles.

Oh yeah, lets review Halofanon articles! :D Ignore the shameless self-promotion. I actually really like that idea. There's a lot of articles on Halofanon that are pretty good quality...and then there are those that aren't.

How about Halo 3 Video Community Contests like Halo 3 Fails and Top 10 Series? Why don't we interview winners, hosts, etc.? Why don't we post an article at the day the new episode is released? Also, why not interview HotMs, top editors, or regular users who do something extraordinary?

How about community submissions? If this is being done for the community, how about we let the community submit what they want. Someone said it earlier, like a personalized version of bungie Favorites.
