Okay, right now we have two IRC channels. Phil_E's #halo-wikia, and my #halopedia. Right now the dispute is just over the name, so we want to know, which name do you like better? güéߣ¥-πéҐøñ¥-ħîИg¥ 02:11, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

This is enough votes, so we're decided, #Halopedia is our "official" channel, and the CGI has been changed to reflect this. güéߣ¥-πéҐøñ¥-ħîИg¥ 15:40, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

  11. Halopedia is a great name. It really says the site is an encyclopedia, not just a wiki. It gives it a dramtic effect when you say it. -User:RvBJunkie

  1. obviously... Phil.e. [Talk to me] 02:15, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
  2. This is the Halo wikia. So im with Phil.e.--MY Place! · Feed The MailBox·I did that! .I Have[[Two Sides]] 21:22, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
  3. Weak Support - Halo Wikia is the official name...think about it. {{SERVERNAME}} returns as "halo" not "Halopedia". ;-) Cheers, RelentlessRecusant 'o the Halopedia Team TALKSPEAK 03:14, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Comment Well, actually, you see how all the project pages are prefixed with Halopedia? That's because Halopedia is the wiki name. Also, servername returns as "halo," NOT "halo-wikia." güéߣ¥-πéҐøñ¥-ħîИg¥ 03:32, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Geeee...can't I just remain neutral? I mean, I like Phil_E and GPT as friends and I don't really want to "ruffle any feathers" as it were by going for one side or the other, and while I understand the motives for each side, I kinda don't really care, it's just a channel, there's thousands of them...but...grrrrr...DON'T GIVE INTO THE PEER PRESSURE!!! PEACE. I'm On Fire! FeedTheFlame WatchMySmoke 03:34, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

My idea is, in the sidebar, we have it just say: "IRC". No, "IRC at #halopedia" or "IRC at #halo-wikia". Just for right now.--H*bad (talk) 03:21, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Well, most of the votes are for #halopedia, and the arguments presented for why it should be #halopedia are better than those for #halo-wikia, so I'm against that idea. güéߣ¥-πéҐøñ¥-ħîИg¥ 04:57, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
