The rarest of Combat Forms. Found in a halo magizine but not ever seen in the games due to the fact that Hunters use the Fuel Rod gun which emits a lot of Plasma Radiation. Being prolonged to plasma can cause a rare sickness called Borens Syndrome which alters neural pathways. Fatal to Humans, Hunters can tolerate this. The sickness prevents the host being assimilated by the Flood Infection Form as it cannot fully alter the hosts DNA. Therefore most Hunters are immune. Hunter Combat Forms have never been encountered due to the fact it takes too long time to alter the DNA of the few that don't have the Borens syndrome. But gthere have been some.Hunter Combat Forms are extremely lethal, with un-equaled strength and power. -- User:Ptowery 21:41, 6 March 2007

Also, I would like to point out that a Hunter is a colony of eels. Thus, in effect, the Flood would have to individually infect each eel, and this is impossible because these eels don't seem to have sufficient biomass. Though the Hunter as a whole does, the individual eels do not.
