Reasons to keep/erase

This is the United States Marine Corps insignia for a corporal. It has no place on the Corporal or any other pages, as it has not been mentioned as being this image in the Halo universe. Unlike officer rank insignias, no enlisted rank insignias have been used on those pages as they are different even amongst current US service branches, and may not be based on US insignias at all. OK so I'm not to sure what to do here. This image is an older version of an image we recently denied. The original uploader of that image has reverted to this older version and uploaded this image. While we're on the subject, what's our position on older/newer versions? Are they automatically approved/denied, or do they need to be reassessed? I don't think there are many people who are going to maliciously upload images to get around the committee. Plus there is the revision button so we can always revert any upload. As for this image,HalogenSkyhawk, it's a fanon image for the game Halogen which has no connection to Bungie thus is non-Canon. However it can be used on the Halogen page but NOT the Skyhawk page-- Esemono 03:48, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
