[edit] Box Summary
Hunters are not in fact a single entity, but rather a gestalt "hive" of little-understood worm-like creatures. Assembling as a cooperative mass, the worm-like creatures inhabit the Hunter armor in a powerful bipedal form, with its massive shield and integrated Fuel Rod Cannon. Their distributed organic structure makes them extraordinarily difficult to kill, and their amassed strength makes them one of the most formidable creatures ever encountered in the Human-Covenant War. They are intelligent, fearless and, above all, deadly.
Their protective armor is articulated to allow for the complex organism to move, and these articulations provide the only real weak point in their defenses.
Each figure has 17 points of articulation. The Hunter's main weapon is it's Assault Cannon, which uses the same ammo as the Fuel Rod Cannon but the shot lasts a few seconds longer.
[edit] Release Date
Available December 2005.
[edit] Joyride
The Action Figures were made by Joyride Studios. On each action figure unit Joyride has included a serial number, which allows you to find out when the action figure was created. The date code has four numbers followed by 'SS' actually stamped or embossed in the cardboard. The first three digits are the date the product was made, and the fourth digit is the year. For example: 2653SS means the product was manufactured on the 265th day of 2003 (9/23/2003). [1]
